Sunday Shopping – Target Dresses and Swimsuits

I’m trying something new and will share my favorite purchases each Sunday. I have a feeling most will center around new and favorite kitchen finds, but I shop for things other than baking sheets 🤪

Saturday morning I had the pleasure of browsing through Target, COMPLETELY ALONE, for an hour (it was probably more but time doesn’t exist in Target).

If you’re anything like me, you have a child (or two or three) and you shop for them exponentially more than you shop for yourself.

They just need. so. much. stuff.

So over the past 2 years, I haven’t bought much. Or I should say, I bought some, but returned most. Getting used to your new body after having your first baby is weird. It’s really weird. I haven’t liked how my old clothes fit me, and I couldn’t seem to find clothes where I liked the fit AND I could be a mom in. Because if you can’t do a full workout in an outfit, it’s not toddler mom outfit approved.

But something magical happened on this shopping trip. I bought 2 swimsuits, 2 dresses, and a pair of shorts and when I tried them all on at home…

So I just have to share. Because if you’re ANYTHING like me, I like to know that someone else loves the product before buying it 🤩

Oh and right now, if you purchase these online and spend more than $50 you get a $10 gift card. Boy do I wish I knew this yesterday 🥴

Women’s Short Sleeve Peasant Dress – Knox Rose™ Red – It’s a loose swing dress. There’s no fit to the dress but I love the flutter sleeves, length of the dress, and neckline. The perfect light summer dress! I bought a size small.

Women’s Floral Print Flutter Short Sleeve Dress – Knox Rose™ – This dress is going to be on ALL summer. It’s light and breezy, but has ribbed waistline that is so flattering! The perfect church or brunch dress. I bought a size small.

Women’s High-Rise Paperbag Shorts – Universal Thread™– I’m so pumped about these shorts. I have a love/hate relationship with shorts because I have a hard time finding the middle between cute shorts and coverage of the bum. I love these. I bought a size 6 since I’m somewhere between a 4 and 6 and absolutely love the fit. Cute enough for drinks with friends but I can also chase my toddler in the park with these. Win!!

Women’s Bandeau Halter Bikini Top – Kona Sol™ Multi – If you’re reading this thinking, Kaitlyn, I had a baby, I cannot wear a strapless bikini, think again. I love this one. I bought a small in the top.

Women’s Medium Coverage High Waist Bikini Bottom – Kona Sol™ Multi – Covers the belly button. Covers the bum. Check, Check. And I love the print! I SURPRISINGLY bought a small in these. They run big because I’m usually a medium or large in Target swim bottoms.

Women’s Lightly Lined Tie-Front Pique Textured Bikini Top – Shade & Shore™– I really really really really like this top. I have been looking for something that doesn’t look like a bra top, but has all the support. This honestly is my favorite color of swimsuit to wear and the support is top notch. Warning on the fit – the top is narrow so I’m usually a 32B and had to get the 34B. I also bought the bottoms but….. probably going to return 🤣

I hope y’all enjoyed this change in content! See y’all? I like other things than pasta. But I REALLY love pasta.

Thanks for visiting Kait’s Kitchen! I know there are so many others to choose from and I’m really grateful that you hang out with me 😁
