I can't believe that I'm even typing this right now!!
Cody's anniversary present to me is one that I've wanted for literally 4 years. Today is our 4 year anniversary and this morning was the first time I have seen our wedding video. It is such a special day 💕

Our experience with our photographer was seamless, easy, fun, and turnaround was quick!! Less than a month!
Our experience with our videographer was a whole different story.
We hired 63 Films (Tregg Istre) to film our wedding and produce the wedding video.
Communication up until the wedding was great. The videographers on the day of were great. Then a month passes, then 2, then 4, with no reply to any emails/calls/texts about the delivery of the video.

We paid ½ of the balance before the wedding and then ½ the day of the wedding (this is standard). So we were totally paid, out a few grand 🙀 It wasn’t until 6 months after the wedding, I was talking to a friend and she mentioned that she saw someone else talking about 63 films on Facebook.
I got in touch with this fellow bride and then was added to a Facebook group dedicated to finding Tregg Istre with over 60 brides that were in the exact same situation as I was. Yes, really.

Long story short, there was a lawyer in the group (thank you, Jesus for Brittany), and she was able to work with Tregg, as he was only responding to her to streamline things (he was also getting pretty nasty threats). He would periodically mail out raw footage on a hard drive (that we had to purchase of course).
I was one of the lucky ones, and I received our raw footage a little before our first anniversary.
Then we sat with this raw footage because it was 8 HOURS of tiny clips and editing is the most time consuming part of the gig. And paying $2k (or more) to have another video company edit it, just wasn’t our priority. It sucked, but there were more important things.Â

But my husband is amazing. And he knew how badly I wanted to see video from that day.
One of our best friends, a talented videographer, looked through literally 8 hours of footage and created the best video I’ve ever seen (but I'm definitely biased).
It’s absolutely beautiful and I’m so incredibly grateful for the love and thought that went into making this video a reality.
SO HERE IT IS!! And if you don't want to watch the whole 8 minute video, you need to at least watch the end 🤣
